Collapsed Sheet Pile in Gedong Being Repaired

The Pasar Rebo Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, East Jakarta, deployed to repair the collapsed sheet pile and road on Jalan Kesehatan, RT 04/11, Gedong Urban Village. It has been ongoing since Monday (7/8).

It will take within two months ahead

Pasar Rebo Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Nana Juhana expressed that to support the repair, one unit of heavy equipment type mini backhoe had been placed at the location.

"It will take within two months ahead," he said, Wednesday (7/17).

Collapsed Sheet Pile on Jalan Supriyadi Being Repaired

In the initial stage, the personnel attached dolken wood as support to prevent further landslides. Repairing the 30-meter-long sheet pile involved 12 personnel every day.

"The collapse has been seen since June 4. The one we repaired reached 30 meters high and two meters high, while the road wide that collapsed is 2.5 meters with 30 meters long," he explained.

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar explained the collapse case was reported via CRM application and had undergone discussion on Monday (7/15).

According to him, a cross-sector coordination meeting was held specifically for landslides in Kalisari and Gedong urban villages.

Especially in Kalisari, the road is private land owned by residents, so the government cannot take action to deal with it unless the land has been donated to the government then it will intervene to handle it.

"We'll support the repair next to the road in Ciliwung River. To pave the road, I asked the heirs of the road owner to donate or lend it to the Bina Marga Sub-agency in a bid to smoothen the repair," he concluded.
